It is October surprise time.
I think SBCI's running of Stolen Honor definitely falls into this category.
Here are 3 choices from Atrios:
1) Bin Laden turns up in a freezer.
2) Bush makes a second surprise visit to troops in Iraq or Afghanistan.
3) Massive Code Red alert.
I think all 3 are unlikely, but would not be surprised by 2 or 3. The more interesting question to me is what, if any, backlash will Bush have if they pull such an obvious surprise?
Now that they are starting to get called on the politicization of the alerts, will this deter them?
