Anti-Palin protest in Anchorage

The Anchorage Daily News reports about 1500 anti-Palin protesters showed up in Anchorage on Saturday, but it doesn't sound like they were very organized.
Protesters had a wide range of beefs with the governor. They included backers of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, abortion rights proponents, advocates for wolves and polar bears, opponents of the Iraq war, and people who said Palin is not ready to be a heartbeat from the presidency.
As I mentioned yesterday, it is a mystery to me why Alaskans are not demanding Palin refund the $17,000 she billed the state while she slept at home.
