Scientist from NOAA after having flown over the growing oil slick on the Gulf have recalculated and determined that oil is leaking at the rate of 210,000 gallons a day. A five fold increase from the original estimate of 42,000 gallons or 1000 barrels a day.
With current wind patterns, the slick will reach the Louisiana shore by Friday.
