Mitt Romney: Douchebag of the Week

In 2009, Mitt Romney said Obama's plans for rescuing the auto industry were “tragic” and “a very sad circumstance for this country.” He felt so strongly about it that he wrote an OP/ED for the NYTimes,

IF General Motors, Ford and Chrysler get the bailout that their chief executives asked for yesterday, you can kiss the American automotive industry goodbye. It won’t go overnight, but its demise will be virtually guaranteed.

Today, Romney told the NYTimes that the credit for saving the auto industry is all his, and if only the POTUS would have adopted his plan earlier the tragedy that has befallen the nation over the auto bailout could have been avoided.

The douchebaggery of Mitt Romney is truly breathtaking. It's as if he began this week saying 'Newt may have been the biggest douchebag last week, but this week that title is all mine.'

This man is truly shameless.
